About Northern Arizona Bartending School

Jump into the skills that bars use every day. Our 16-hour hands-on course focuses on real drink preparation, bar flow, customer service, and responsible skill-building — all taught behind an actual bar setup.

With small classes (3–9 students), you’ll receive personal coaching, hands-on practice, and the confidence that comes from learning by doing in a realistic bar environment.

Courses

Standard Course

16-hour course • Monday–Thursday, 6–10 PM
Generally scheduled for the first week of each month.
No alcohol is served during training — mock drinks are used for safety and skill development.

What you’ll learn:
• Practical drink preparation & classic recipes
• Speed, accuracy, and bar workflow techniques
• Customer service etiquette & bar terminology
• Responsible alcohol awareness & safety practices
• Hands-on training with bar setups and mock orders

Included:
The school manual and professional, hands-on instruction in a bar-classroom environment.
A Certificate of Course Completion recognizing successful participation in the program.

Advanced Workshop

4-hour specialty workshop • Held the Saturday following the Standard Course
Includes an optional guided practice session afterward.

Take your skills further with creative cocktail techniques, mobile bartending concepts, and elevated drink presentation in a hands-on learning environment.

What you’ll learn:
• Craft cocktail design and presentation techniques
• Mobile bartending basics and setup considerations
• Introductory flair and showmanship practice
• An introduction to molecular mixology concepts
